Looking for a forever home for a sweet, shy senior cat.  My mother-in-law lives in a duplex and the people in the other half of the duplex died.  My mother-in-law is 88 and moving into a retirement community.  She has been trying to take care of the cat since the other residents died (their family won't have anything to do with the cat), but she can't physically take care of the cat anymore.  The cat has been an indoor cat for over 10 years, is about 12 or 13 years old and in pretty good health except extremely overweight.  I can't take the cat because I already have 4 and this cat really needs to be in a quiet, calm environment.  The cat is in the Houston area, current on all shots, spayed and quiet.  If you can help me find a home for this cat, I would appreciate it.  If we can't find a home quickly, the original owners children will dump this cat at the very high kill Houston shelter.  If you think you are interested or can help, please contact me at:  sscottaustin@gmail.com or feel free to call: 512-294-3271
